Through Her Eyes is a compilation of poetry pertaining to abuse, as told through the eyes of a child. It is reflective, sensitive, and may bring tears to the reader’s eyes. Its purpose is to make readers who have suffered childhood abuse realize that they are not alone in their pain. Children are gifts from God and should be treated as such. They are innocent and trusting, and depend on the adults in their lives to keep them safe from harm. More often than not, children do receive the love and guidance they need. Unfortunately, there are those children who are forced to suffer abuse at the hands of perverted people. This book is dedicated to God, and to the little ones whose innocence has been stolen from them. May God bless all children, everywhere.
